On February 8, 2017, the Conseil d’État confirmed the decision of the CNIL refusing to authorise an automated processing of personal data whose purpose was to test a methodology for quantitative estimation of pedestrian flows on the esplanade of La Défense, as well as the axes of displacements used within the area.
